July is here, we are half way through a very exciting year of events.

At the beginning of the year we launched a calendar of special events on the property at Mavis’s Kitchen named the “2017 Events series”, this initiative was to start to introduce new angles and experiences for dining on the natural spectacular that is the Mavis property.

Fresh at the helm of the kitchen after his takeover as head chef in october 2016 Chef Pepe Garcia was itching to incorporate his signature; “outdoor coal pit fire cooking” into these experiences, this influence combined by the 10 year strong expertise of the whole management and events teams from the strength of Mavis’s as a wedding and events venue has meant that we have been able to welcome more than 1,000 guests to our ticketed dining experiences so far this year.

The experiences have connected guests with regional produce, Australian wines, world class Italian operatic arias, skilled flamenco guitar, awe inspiring fire breathers and talented local musicians.

Our guests have connected to new like minded people, always reporting to have made new friends. and last but not lease, our experience guests have made a connection with this beautiful part of the world – through long evenings of dining on the land.

Stepping into July, we are looking forward again.. the second part of the calendar about to take off…
